the upshot of driving through kansas at night

doctor demento is still on the air on sunday nights on the oldies station, which apparently has enough broadcast power to reach nearly kansas city from wichita. so i listened to some old favorites ("the existential blues", "marvin, i love you", "send the marines", etc) and heard one that was new to me.

doc was kind enough to interview the young man who recorded it, and therefore i was able to google the song and find the accompanying flash animation.

in all it's glory, i give you "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny". click the little 'play this movie' icon next to the picture of Batman. seriously.
