i got nothing

tomorrow marks two weeks until i am finished with my job at Big Brown. in the interim, they have supplied me with a trainee who (whom?) i've been introducing to everyone as Ginny V2.o. he is not amused at this. my training period at my new job begins monday. see the problem? there's an overlap. i've been remiss in my planning somehow and the very thought of it makes my tummy a little queasy.

my beloved Roomie A was offered a job earlier this week, which would have required him to move to Houston sometime next week. while this did not come about (and he was summarily offered a better job right here in the ICT), we were very up in the air for most of the week about our living arrangements.

aaaannd, i haven't even looked at my homework. whoops.

all this culminated in a night of rotten and very strange dreams for me, and all the while, my tum still in an uproar (too much stress = gastrointestinal distress = no dates for sure). one more day this week. one more day. i can get up, haul my ass out of bed and do it. i can do it, sure i can, work my ass off for the man.

i noticed that i have lost a signifigant amount of weight such that my pants fit differently these days.

so i apologize for those of you who journey here looking for something, that i've nothing much to provide lately. i promise to get back on the blogging horse, with chutzpah and sass and style, very soon. just not yet. the best of my mind, creative and eloquent and otherwise has been occupied elsewhere.

on the upshot, i have the entire weekend off, and i will spend part of it with my family, and part with some friends. the cutest boy at work's band is playing saturday night, and having been invited i will go and do my best not to feel/look/seem older than everyone else in attendance. then we'll go en masse from bar with music to birthday party (which i have been promised will be a Ninja Turtle themed party...hmm). if the weather holds, i'm going to the zoo on sunday to visit some of Monkey's extended family.

until i'm back in full swing, i'd like to thank you for taking the time to visit me, and rest assured, i've been dealing with my stress in a proper fashion.

more, and more quality, soon..

Please say Hello my family. They are incarcerated for being bad little monkeys and I hope they will have parole soon.

I wonder if there is something in the air? My dreams have been odd lately too. It doesn't help that I wake up coughing wildly every night.

Have a great weekend, and I look forward to your sass and style when you return.

i don;t know what an ICT is.
when i left my last job - my wonderful job - they told my replacement she would be renamed after me, and had no choice in the matter.

Watch Ginny with a G all new episode on Monday when GwG accidentally sets herself up to work two jobs at once. Hilarity ensues.

I don't know how to say it in French, but I am also a big tard.

Spooky. I Was going to ask what the ICT was as well.

Plus tard is french for later. Tard is where we get the word tardy (as in late) from.

Sorry, I'll stop being a dickhead now.

monkey: your family was busy beating each other with sticks. is that, uh, normal?

roberto: um, hello? knitty says you like my blog, and that you'll be back. i'm assuming you read english, so thank you. although your use of the word "tard" worried me, but briefly.

lozzy: i don't care if they call him Nancy No-Knickers. i'm approaching that point in my employment at UPS i like to call "no longer my problem".

nick: you leave my new friend roberto alone! those were your smokes, and that was my spending money for last week. also, it was dinner on wednesday night. ping pong, anyone?

ubie: yeah, booooeeyyy. and i'll have to turn in my uniforms! damn! something else to do.

knitty: thank you for both the kind words, and the translation. hurray for knowing more than just the curse words in another language.

anonymous: i have my own aromatherapy products. they're called cigarettes. i'll thank you not to use my name anymore.

jj: i'm a goof! ha ha! i've been given two days to learn to run a store and i've been given my own, on my own, come monday! laff riot! (i imagine by this time next week, i'll be well and truly drunk. also, grumpy. likely: confused)

nick: um, tard royale?

wbb: golly, but why doesn't the whole world know the airport code for Wichita, Kansas? you people must not have enough to do between tea and crumpets.

and thanks again, for the translation. i've had several people confirm that this is just a way of saying he'll be back later, or talk at you later, or just later, but that he is not calling me a tard.

i prefer the term go-tard anyway.
