Long time, no see!
Greetings!
So anyway, I've been tied up with my so-called "real life". We successfully got through the holidays, and the new babies, and the new semester beginning, and now we can settle back into the comfortable groove of another year.
I'm taking a cue from my beloved little brother and blogging at work while there's quiet time (it beats the hell out of pulling my own hair out). The story I have to tell is very basic and most enviable: I got to feed a giraffe yesterday and you didn't (I'm assuming)...

They have exceptionally long, purple tongues..it's very weird to experience. I turn to Jobu (after plastering myself with Purell to kill off the Nature on my hands) and exclaimed that it was like hand-feeding Gene Simmons.
Delightful! And it's 55 degrees in the sun, in January.
