i blame ms. kendra

i joined NaNoWriMo. the local group has a get together scheduled this coming friday, so i'm going to see what goes on at these things.

i've always wanted to write something meaningful, at least as it seems to me. i'm not a writer, nor a poet, but i think i've a story i can tell.

nick, you want to go with me? writing starts the 1st..

i've decided to take my entry from FFF #5 and expand it out to a story. it's an interesting vignette, and i liked the style of it. if you want to read it, you'll have to find it since i'm a dunce at HTML. look under my archives from last august.

more on writing, i'm putting my journals together into one format, that is, i guess i'm pulling all my paper copies and together with this blog, my photos, and email archives into one coherent whole. don't you hate it when someone else gets to say "I told you so"? i do, and *they* were right. journaling is helpful and very interesting, but only once it's done. it's like cleaning the house before a vacation: an incredible pain in the ass, but you're glad you did it when you get back. i look back on the things i've written and realize more than i thought i could about my own moods..

i keep this blog not for you, beloved reader, but because i want it, and this is my journal now. even my banal days tell me something about where i've been when seen in retrospect. if you want to read, please do. i try to amuse or enlighten when i can, but i'm no JJ or Nick, for sure. more to the point, now that i've created this online journal, i'm afraid to let my "audience" down by simply letting the blog go the way of the dinosaur. please keep on my ass about posting, you'll be doing me more of a favor than you realize.

anyway, i joined NaNoWriMo and am compiling my memiors into a stuffy pedantic tome. aren't you a happy monkey for it?

alright, seriousness aside. the regularly scheduled bullshit will return soon.

much gratitude,

ginon

keyord analysis of the lodge

drill down 3 27.27% obscene cross stitch
drill down 2 18.18% cookie wonton
drill down 1 9.09% lithiummotorlodge
drill down 1 9.09% idiotic email game
drill down 1 9.09% chamomile for chidhood depression
drill down 1 9.09% pitchers of zombies
drill down 1 9.09% enima kit
drill down 1 9.09% lithium legs weak

okay, i can dig the cross stitch one. currently working on a new one, proudly proclaiming, "There is a star in the book of JiveAss by your name". christmas present for a friend of the boy's.

cookie wonton? is that supposed to be "wanton cokehead"?

lithiummotorlodge. yep. you found it, here's your key and your pool pass, breakfast starts at 7.30.

"pitchers of zombies"? i had no idea they came in liquid form.

enima kit...?

and legs weak, yep, i can see that as well.

nothing like the trappings of fame.

the importance of science standards in Ks

myself and my sig other are driving about wichita the other day when we get caught in the shift change at one of the aerospace companys. i see some douche go by with a personalized license plate reading "4TWENTY" and i comment that while it's marginally acceptable to be a stoner, it is plain stupid to advertise it.

j says, what are you talking about?

i go on to explain the concept of 4.20.

he wonders about the etymology of the phrase (anyone know?) and supposes it comes from phish or dave matthews.

g: no, it's much older than that. grateful dead?

j: bob dylan?

g: hank williams?

j: duke ellington?

g: al jolsen!

j: (i don't recall)

g: mozart!

j: something older..

g: king nebudchadezzar!

j: adam. (long pause) beat that!

g & j: simultaneously, God!

j: it wasn't the big bang, it was the big bong!

so as you can see, we've come up with another perectly good explanation of the creation of the universe. the lord almighty was hitting the bong, wondered, where are the lights? let there be light. he thinks, man do i have cottonmouth, and bam! water. man, my sandals are damp, and we have land. etc.

someone alert the BOE!
